Ashton Manor, based in Farnham, was once the residence of the Bishop of Winchester; a distinguished property of grade 2 listing, completely refurbished and adapted to offer high quality Nursing Care. It is located in beautiful rural surroundings on high elevation with good views, beside St Peter’s church and within a short reach of Farnham town centre.

Services Offered
We provide specialist Nursing and Residential care for up to 39 older people of both sexes, including those with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. We recognise that for people with dementia there are special considerations that we need to be particularly sensitive to and that many residents can still retain ability. We have a number of staff fully qualified and trained in dementia care activities, thus bringing long-term experience and expertise.
We can also provide short-term respite care or day care.
Fees
Fees vary according to the room chosen, care requirement and facilities available (such as en-suite, ground floor, etc). Fees quoted below are minimum fees per service user and covers accommodation, full board, laundry, in house activities and most importantly complete Nursing Care.
Ensuite Single Room from £850.00 per week
Ensuite Shared Facility from £700.00 per week
District Nurse Service
We have regular visits from district nurses and community practitioners to meet any clinical needs of our residents.
GP Service
Our Home is well served by a local Doctors practice in Grayshott. Residents may continue to use the services of their own GP, if they are registered with a local practice and their GP is in agreement.
Laundry
Personal laundry is performed in the Home using our own facilities, at no extra charge. Specialist cleaning, if required, can be arranged, but an additional charge will be incurred. All clothing should be capable of being machine-washed and must be suitably labelled. We request that relatives assist us in this process.
Optician and Dental
The services of a visiting optician and a local dentist are available if required.
Hairdressing/Chiropody
Our hairdresser visits the Home weekly and is available to the residents on request. Our chiropodist visits every six weeks and sees residents as necessary. Residents will be invoiced directly for these services.
Newspapers/Magazines
Newspapers/magazines can be arranged and delivered on a daily basis. Residents will be billed monthly, in arrears, for this service.
Religious Service
The services of chaplains from various denominations are available. Holy Communion is held monthly, by local clergy, or as required by the resident.
Welfare and Activities
A comprehensive and varied activities programme, designed to stimulate the needs of all our residents, is arranged by our in-house activities co-ordinator.
Activities range from indoor ball games toshort walks; pat the dog to a glass of cherry in the garden.
We also have frequent outings, such as trips to the garden centre and Christmas lights viewing, to suit the season.
External agencies and volunteers are encouraged to come in and offer their services and performance.

The home is located within a short distance (2miles) of the Historic market town centre of Farnham, within walking distance of Wrecclesham village centre with shop, pubs and post office; right next to St Peters Church.
